Lessons from the Wilderness

Sometimes, it seems like we will never get out of the COVID pandemic. Sometimes, it seems like we are just wandering in a wilderness. This is not the first time God’s people have been in a wilderness. After the exodus from Egypt, Israel spent over 40 years moving from place to place. We can learn much from their experiences. This week, we consider fear. Upon reaching the promised land, fear of the unknown spread throughout the camp. People panicked and turned back. What a tragedy.
