Adult Forum: The Anglican Way
Every Sunday until November 26, 2023
9:15am – 10:15am
Want to know more about our Anglican tradition? Ever wonder why we even call ourselves Anglicans?
And to be really honest, what the heck does “Anglican” even mean?
If these questions have ever rolled through your mind, set aside your Sunday morning before worship to join Fr. Chuck Collins as he guides us through a six-Sunday teaching on the richness of The Anglican Way.
Fr. Chuck is uniquely qualified to provide us with this teaching having served as the Director for the Center for Reformation Anglicanism and as Rector of Episcopal and Anglican churches in Texas, Florida, New Mexico, and Arizona. He has served as Canon Theologian in the Diocese of the Rio Grande and has written extensively on the Anglican tradition.
His Sunday topics will include The Anglican Distinctives, or what characterizes Anglicanism, the Anglican way of Understanding and Interpreting Scripture, as well as Anglicanism’s traditions regarding Salvation, Prayer, Discipleship, and Sacramental Life.
Don’t miss this chance to learn more about the faith you hold and the tradition in which you have come to hold it.
