Confirmation Sunday

Confirmation is an ancient ceremony in which the bishop lays hands on someone and invites the Holy Spirit to fill them. For participants, confirmation is a mature, public affirmation of faith. It is for those baptized as infants who now wish to confirm they believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord. In addition to confirmation, the bishop may recognize those who would like to reaffirm their faith and those who wish to be received into the Anglican Church of North America from another denomination. Confirmation with Bishop Lowenfield will be on Sunday, February 12.
