How We Live
And Jesus said, Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. (Luke 6:38f)
For many years, even well into my life in ordained ministry, I believed that Christian giving was only a duty, an act of faithfulness, a discipline one must learn. On top of that, I understood, wrongly, that giving in the Church was primarily for the purpose of offering support of the ministry of the Church. And in all those years of duty and discipline, I never knew the Joy of Living Generosity. I never knew the Christ-likeness of Generosity. I never knew the Freedom of Generosity.
Come join me on October 11 and 12 as we enter a journey of the Joy of Living Generously… And No We Won’t Ask For Money. You will discover whole new facets of the Heart of God, which is the Generous Heart…For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
With my love and prayers for each of you,
