Why do they want to kill him?

  • A man made rule of no labor
• Claim of being the Son of God
• Claim of being equal to God

2. What does it mean to be the Son of God?
   1. Identical to God but distinguished
   2. Loved by the Father
   3. Learns from the Father in a profound relationship.
   4. He is obedient to the Father v19
   5. He is sent by the Father
   6. He is delegated judgement v22,27
3. So is Jesus equal to God?
4. In what was is He equal?
   1. Can give Life v21
   2. Worthy of honor v23
   3. He has life in himself v26
5. So is Jesus making false claims based off this passage?
6. So who are the Trinity?
   1. 3 in 1, one God three persons distinguished by what they do
   2. The Father sends the Son into the world for our redemption
   3. The Son who aquires our redemption for us
   4. The Spirit who applies that redemption to us
   5. This redemption is eternal life with the Trinity
   6. Rejection of one is rejection of all
