November 30 marked the beginning of the season of Advent. This is a time when our attention is focused on the coming of King Jesus, both as an infant born to the virgin Mary and when he comes again in glory.
The Old Testament has over 300 prophesies concerning Jesus. In addition, things such as the Tabernacle, the Temple and Passover point to him. And yet, during Jesus’s ministry, no one (even his disciples) understood exactly who he was and what his mission was. Even worse, the Jewish religious leaders, who should have known better, rejected and killed him. Why?
