Stoning of Stephen

Alas, not everyone likes Christians. Even if we are loving and compassionate and giving, some people will not like us. Why? Because Jesus threatens people’s beliefs. He warned about that so we should not be surprised. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, was stoned to death simply because he proclaimed Jesus. One of the people in the mob that killed Stephen was an angry, dangerous man named Saul. We should become more like him. Huh?? Yes, we should become more like Saul. Find out more in this week's sermon.
