The Prophets

God wasn’t kidding when he said, “You shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 3:3) But his people didn’t listen.  They included false gods in their worship and their wonderful life under King David slipped away.  God will not play second fiddle.  Even so, the prophets had a word of hope to people who had lost their way of life.  Spoiler alert: it involved a baby in a manger.  Find out what the prophet Isaiah had to say about this child in this week’s sermon.
