Women's Thursday Morning Bible Study Contunies
We study God’s Word in humility, attentive to the Holy Spirit; asking Him to illuminate it for us, to unlock something in us, to show us His beauty and His majesty. We study His Word to be comforted and, even, discomforted. We study to be changed, knowing it is God who works the change in us – through practice, discipline, play, pain, and in community with people in whom Christ dwells. We study His Word to know His love and to abide in Him.
Come, join us on Thursday mornings in the adult classroom at the church. We meet from 10:00am to 11:30am. Our gathering begins with fellowship and Morning Prayer (booklets provided), followed by a group study of God’s Word. Bring your study Bible, bring your heart for God and His Word, and let’s dive in together.
We are currently studying 1 Peter: Peter, a disciple of Jesus, a hot-headed man always in motion, wrote letters to the early churches that have been called affectionate, loving, lowly, and humble. Come, join us as we read and study 1 Peter, a letter that encourages us that though life may be hard, God is always good. Childcare is available upon request.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

Youth Group contunies
Youth group is a community within a community. A place where your students can savely explore their faith with others their own age.
Youth group is for grades 6th through 12th. We meet after church from 12 to 2 with lunch, lesson, and games. We also have events outside of youth group like work days, retreats, mission trip, and random events.

Grace Anglican’s Men’s Bible Study resumes its reading of Exodus on Saturday morning, Sep 7. Strong coffee and fellowship are served as early as 7:00 a.m. Breakfast follows at 7:30. We pray as a group for our concerns and those of our families at 8:00; our study of Exodus begins at 8:30. We finish at 9:30 unless the discussion holds us a bit longer.
Those unable to attend in person can attend via Zoom. Grace’s MBS uses a unique meeting technology that enables Internet users to experience the group as best as possible. Contact Bill Russell (bill@graceanglicankaty.com) to receive the weekly recap and Zoom link.
Exodus is one of the oldest books of the Bible, yet its teaching is vitally relevant to any man alive today. Skeptical? Come and see how God can use a measured, deliberate reading of his Word to speak into your life and draw you deeper into his kingdom.
Exodus is about God freeing the enslaved. Come and see how he might free you.

Adult Forum starts Septmeber 8
Grace Anglican’s fall Adult Forum resumes Sunday, September 8, to take a close look at Jesus’ offer of The Abundant Life. Jesus spoke these words in the temple on the last day Sukkot, the Feast of Booths, the commemoration of God’s saving provision for the Israelites in the wilderness. Just imagine the contrast: barren, dry, hostile wilderness and life lived abundantly to the full!
Here’s some good news: God made us for abundant living, and Jesus makes it available to us now! Join us as early as 9:15 on Sundays beginning September 8 for coffee, treats, and fellowship. Our discussion begins at 9:30 and finishes by 10:15.
Come and see! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Women's Tuesday Evening Bible Study starts September 10
This study is led by Karen Henson. Come, join them on Zoom from 7:00PM to 8:30 PM. They start with a time of fellow sharing what's going on in life and sharing prayer needs. Afterwards they move into a time of study on a book of the bible. They are currently off for the summer but will return September 10. Contact Karen at Karen@graceanglicankaty.com to be on the email list.
The Upcoming study is The Book of Revelation with the Study being done by Jen Wilkin
"Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way?
Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study, Jen Wilkin helps you discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God's great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age."
