Martha’s Ministry – Serving Our Faith Community with Hospitality and Care in Katy, TX
Martha’s Ministry at Grace Anglican Church is dedicated to offering hope, hospitality, and loving care to members of our faith community during times of need. Inspired by Jesus’ example of service at the Last Supper, our ministry prepares and delivers meals to those recovering from surgery, welcoming a new baby, experiencing illness, or facing loss.
Our Purpose
Through the gift of time and talent, Martha’s Ministry shares in the joys and struggles of everyday life by providing nourishing meals and compassionate support to fellow believers in Katy, TX.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a volunteer in Martha’s Ministry, you can serve in various ways:
Providing supplies to support meal preparation
Preparing fresh or frozen meals (typically including salad, entrée, bread, dessert, and tea)
Delivering meals to those in need within our community
Our Goals
View service as an act of prayer and witness to Christ’s love
See the face of Christ in every person we serve
Share the love of Christ through acts of hospitality and care
Make all recipients feel loved, cared for, and valued members of our community
Foster a team spirit by sharing responsibilities among volunteers to meet community needs
