10:30am – 12:00pm
Anglicanism requires a public and personal profession of the Faith from every adult believer in Jesus Christ. Confirmation or Reception by a bishop is its liturgical expression. Those having made adult professions of faith in other Christian traditions (including those confirmed in other traditions) are received into the Anglican Church with prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Those experiencing a renewal of Christian commitment or significant life transition may also reaffirm the pledges made to Christ and his Church with prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop.
On Sunday, December 9, The Rt. Rev. Clark Lowenfield will be here for his annual visit. Already, 17 people have decided that they want to stand up for the historic, biblical faith by being received into our movement, the Anglican Church in North America. One other person has decided to reaffirm his faith. It will be an exciting day for everyone to share this important day with these people. If you feel moved to join these people, there will be an information session after church on Sunday, December 2. It will take about an hour and will be in the living room.
