What is Confirmation? Confirmation is an ancient ceremony where a believer in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior public professes their faith in front of their own church body. During the ceremony the bishop lays hands on the participant and invites the Holy Spirit to fill them.
Who can be confirmed? Anyone who is Baptized and is 12 years or up. The participant just needs to be 12 by October 13, which is Confirmation. Yes that means adults as well. We also do reaffirmations of ones faith and reception as well.
When does it start? August 25 at 9:30 am in the confirmation.
What will i need for the class? Just bring your bible and you, also feel free to take notes.
What will be taught in the class? The classes are taught from a biblical worldview, focusing on four questions: Where are we?, Who are we?, What is the problem?, and What is the remedy?. There will also be a fifth class on the liturgy of the service itself, so you know exactly what you are saying.
What if I miss a week? Just talk to me and we can easily set up a make up.
So where can I sign up? Just sign up at the back table at church.
If you have any other questions just ask me through email, phone, or in person.
