  • Men's Bible Study: Genesis
    Men's Bible Study: Genesis

    7:30am – 9:00am

Genesis, the Book of Beginnings—a big, long book that starts with the beginning of time and runs to about 1800 BC or so—A LONG time! Written over 3,000 years ago, it contains a lot of stories about people with odd names from weird places that do things way different from how things are done now. That is until you slow down and look closely. Then, these ancient Middle Easterners begin to look more familiar. In fact, you may recognize a family member or two in them. And if you look real closely, you just might find yourself in this big, long book of beginnings. For sure, you’ll find God in it. All this can make Genesis tough to tackle on our own—it’s easy to get discouraged and confused in its pages. So, we need all the help we can get. We need a guide to keep us on the path. AND this is where Grace Anglican’s Saturday Men’s Bible Study (MBS) is ready to jump into your life and help you out! Ever wondered if there’s more to life than what you’ve been getting? Ever feel lost, like you’re not sure where you are at times? Ever wonder who the heck you really are, why things are so screwed up, and what the heck can you do about it? If not, sleep in on Saturday mornings—you’ve earned it! But if so, then give the Saturday MBS a try. We make it easy, too. “Zoom in” one Saturday. If you like what you see and hear, then come on down to Grace the next Saturday (COVID permitting) for some genuine MALE fellowship, strong, hot coffee, a great breakfast, and a close encounter with God’s Word. If you join up, you get a special MAN NAME and some brothers who’ll get as close to you as you’ll allow. Same goes for God. He’s looking to draw you closer, brother. So come on down to the MBS and let him! You’ll never, ever regret it. Contact Bill Russell at bill@graceanglicankaty.com for the Zoom link test drive. No insurance required! Learn More

  • Soul in the City 2021
    Soul in the City 2021

    2:00pm – 11:00am

After having to move online last year, the Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast is thrilled to announce that the 2021 Soul in the City will be in person from Sunday, July 11 through Saturday, July 17. Soul in the City is a unique opportunity for youth to participate in God's kingdom work in Houston, serving alongside one another at worksites and in various not-for-profits and ministries. In the past, outreach has included working with food pantries, homeless ministries, home renovations, and special needs centers. Hosted at St. Timothy's, this week is designed for intentional discipleship grounded in solid biblical teaching and Anglican tradition. Through study, discussion, service, worship, and fun, 7th - 12th graders will have the opportunity to build relationships, grow their own faith, and share with others the same love of Christ that has been shared with them. As it says in 1 Peter 4:10, "Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others as good stewards of the varied grace of God." Every person involved in Soul in the City, including you, brings certain gifts, skills, and a presence that will be an integral part of blessing the city of Houston. Keep an eye on our social media platforms (@soul.in.the.city.houston) for announcements, student testimonials, speaker introductions, and ministry spotlights. Registration is open! Information and pricing is below. Don't miss the chance to be a part of it! We are praying now for you, for all involved in Soul in the City, for the ministries with whom we will be working, and for Houston, and we are hoping with eager expectation and excitement that God will work in mighty, surprising, and miraculous ways through this adventure! Registration Information: - March 15: Early Bird Registration Opens: $225 ($50 discount) - April 30: Early Bird Registration Closes - May 1: Standard Registration: $275 - June 15: Late Registration Begins: $375 - June 30: Registration Closes Learn More

  • Evening Prayer
    Evening Prayer

    7:00pm – 8:30pm

How often do our prayers center entirely on our own immediate concerns? A lot. And there is nothing wrong with that. However, the apostle Paul tells us to look beyond our own interests. That is exactly what we do at our monthly Abide in Me Prayer Gathering. Join us on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. as we pray for the needs of Grace Anglican Community, our ministries, our growth, as well as for neighborhoods, schools, and the broader community.
