Men's Bible Study Hebrews (1080 x 700 px) image

The Book of Hebrews is one of the most profound and theologically rich writings in the New Testament. Though its author remains unknown, its message is clear: Jesus Christ is the ultimate revelation of God, surpassing all previous mediators—angels, Moses, the Levitical priesthood, and the sacrificial system. Written to a community facing persecution and possibly wavering in their faith, Hebrews urges them to persevere by fixing their eyes on Jesus, the "author and perfecter of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2).

The letter is structured like a sermon, weaving together Old Testament quotations and imagery to show how Christ fulfills God’s promises. It emphasizes that Jesus, as both the perfect high priest and the final sacrifice, has opened the way for us to enter God's presence with confidence. At its heart, Hebrews calls believers to endurance, faithfulness, and a deeper trust in God's unshakable kingdom.

Join us as we study Hebrews together and reflect on its encouragement to “hold fast to our confession” (Hebrews 4:14) and draw near to God with full assurance of faith.

Grace Men’s Bible study meets for fellowship, breakfast, and study most every Saturday beginning as early as 7:00 am for coffee. Breakfast follows at 7:30, prayers for what concerns us at 8:00, and Hebrews at 8:30. All done by 9:30 unless the conversation demands more time. Contact Bill Russell (bill@graceanglicankaty.com) for more information. There is room for you!
