Virtual Prayer Vigil

Prior to his crucifixion, Jesus needed to pray. But he did not want to be alone. So he took Peter, James and John to a private place. He instructed them to stay at a distance and to watch with him. After a time, Jesus returned and found them all asleep. "Could you not watch with me one hour?" (~Matthew 26:40)

 

Once again, the Daughters of the Holy Cross invites you to watch with Jesus for one hour on April 1 through 4, during our 62-hour Prayer Vigil. Out of an abundance of caution, our Prayer Vigil will be virtual. It will begin at 8:30 p.m. after our Maundy Thursday service and will end at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate the Risen Lord at our Easter Service.
