7:00pm – 8:30pmCategory: Prayer Meeting
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior..." (1 Timothy 2:1-3). How often do our prayers center entirely on our own immediate concerns? A lot. And there is nothing wrong with that. However, the apostle Paul tells us to look beyond our own interests. That is exactly what we do at our monthly Evening Prayer Gathering. Join us on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. as we pray for the needs of Grace Anglican Community, our ministries, our growth, as well as for neighborhoods, schools, and the broader community. The format is a rich blend of liturgy, song, and prayer. No prior experience is required. And no individual is required to pray out loud. Give it a try. It is a great way to begin the year.
