Christmas Eve Service @ 7:00PM

Christmas Eve Service in Katy Texas image

December 24, 2020

7:00pm – 8:30pm

Category: Christmas | Coordinator: Bob Henson

Christmas Eve will be here before we know it. Let me share with you some important information about our Christmas Eve services.

First, and foremost (and you know this), Christmas Eve is about Jesus, the eternal Son of God, born to the Virgin Mary. In this epic event, the love and grace of God was demonstrated to all people, in all places, at all times. All of life must be put in perspective of what happened in the little town of Bethlehem. In this crazy COVID season, try not to be distracted from this amazing event. No matter what is going on in the world, the birth of Jesus is far more important and it is cause for great joy.

Second, we are still in COVID. This means that we will have to do some things differently this Christmas Eve. Here are the details.

  • We will have two services: 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. There will be a nursery for infants through age four at both services. There will also be a children’s program for ages five through fifth grade at both services. We will be livestreaming at 5:00 pm.

  • Unfortunately, due to social distancing requirements, seating capacity will be limited to 60 at each service. As a result, on Christmas Eve, we will be doing what some churches have been doing all along. We will require reservations. You may make your reservation HERE.

If you will be with us in person, consider inviting a friend or loved one. Even with social distancing, it will be a special time of worship. And if you will be with us online, consider inviting a friend or loved one to watch and participate with you. Life and joy entered the world in Bethlehem. It is a night like none other.

Come, let us adore him.
