Covid Policy as of November 9

Dear Fellow Travelers,

I am writing to update you on our latest response to the pandemic.

From the outbreak of this COVID season, we have sought to provide a safe, meaningful worship experience for our people, both in person (when allowed to meet) and online. Thanks to the creative and technical efforts of our staff, I believe we have done that. To say the least, it has been a moving target. As the pandemic has progressed, we have adapted to it.

Now, with cases and hospitalizations falling consistently, we sense that the time has come to respond again. Therefore, as Bob mentioned last Sunday, effective this Sunday, November 14, we will implement the following:

  • Masks will be optional.
  • There will be reserved seating for those who choose to wear masks.
  • We have installed plexiglass shields to block aerosols from the worship group vocalists.

For now, we will continue to use the shorter service, the ministry team will be masked, and communion wine will be distributed in small plastic cups.

All of us are tired of our lives being disrupted by this virus. Hopefully, we are on a pathway to a more normal way of life.

Grace to you,

Bill
