Grace Anglican’s Saturday Men’s Bible Study has followed Jesus through the Gospel according to Mark and the Acts of the Apostles. Along the way, we’ve learned we don’t need to understand everything about Jesus to follow him.
Still, we’ve changed as we followed. Truthfully, it’s been a struggle: part of us wants to leave off the journey and do things the way we always have; but another urges us to move on to the new things he sets before us. We’ve been seized by something bigger than we imagined; and it insists firmly that we stay the course and see things through to the end.
This odd, compelling journey of following Jesus has given us an unexpected blessing: company! Jesus never travels alone. In this new company, we find encouragement to become the disciple Jesus wants. If we’re honest, we acknowledge it’s hard; if we’re open, we can be helped by Jesus and the others; if we’re humble, we’ll take the help.
Now, the company of Grace Anglican’s Saturday Men’s Bible Study turns its eyes and ears to four brothers who can help us immensely. Join us Saturday mornings as we hear what James, Paul, Peter, and John learned by following Jesus. These guys saw and heard the risen Lord; and they are ready to help us change further—if we’ll take it.
The company of Grace Anglican’s Men’s Bible Study meets Saturday mornings as early as 7:30 for coffee and fellowship. Breakfast is served at 8:00. Reading and discussion of the Bible kicks off at 8:30. We complete our time together at 9:30. All are welcome.
Come, follow the Lord Jesus in our company as we strive to project his image into a world that is desperate for his mercy, truth, and grace.
